Lendeborg leads Warriors to first win with Denver rout

Yaxel Lendeborg recorded 31 points and 12 rebounds as Golden State beat Denver 134-114 for its first victory of the season. [3] Stephen Curry helped turn a four-point halftime advantage into a 14-point lead during the third quarter, while Draymond Green and Al Horford contributed to Golden State's work against Jokic. [14] Why it matters: The Warriors' first win came with several distinct contributions: Lendeborg supplied the headline scoring and rebounding totals, Curry helped widen the lead, and the frontcourt provided a matchup answer against Jokic. That offers more explanation than the final 20-point margin alone. [3][14] Key insights: Lendeborg's 31 points and 12 rebounds were the central box-score contribution in AP's account.
